With the theme 'In the Beginning' the Cathedral's interior will be transformed into a mass of flowers depicting the Creation with displays representing the land, sea, sun, moon and the creatures of the land, sea and air. In addition to the thousands of flowers, there will be a programme of musical performances from choirs and orchestras from around the world included in the ticket price. A nice lazy day ------- First we go to Wroxham [following a comfort break en-route] for some Free Time, a stroll, lunch maybe! Wroxham is known as the capital of the Broads with an abundance of hotels, pubs, restaurants and shops plus, of course, Roys. Roys store is known as the worlds largest Village Shop. Around 2.15pm we transfer to Horning for our Cruise on the Broads. In Horning we board the Southern Bell, a double-decked paddle boat purpose built for the Broads. Our cruise will last about 90 mins along the River Bure out to Ranworth Broad passing old thatched houses, windmills and reed beds. We get back to horning around 4.30pm and will leave for home at 5.00pm - home by 7.30pm 'ish. £35.00 including Cruise and Coach from our usual pick ups.

Highclere Castle has been home to the Carnarvon family since 1679 was the original house was built on an ancient site recorded in the Doomsday Book. The present house was designed in 1842 by Sir Charles Barry, the architect reponsible for building the Houses of Parliament.
The Castle's history includes a fascinating connection with ancient Egypt as the 5th Earl, together with Howard Carter, discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922. The Castle now houses an exhibition to commemorate that historic event.
Downton Abbey, the major ITV series was filmed at Highclere is currently on TV at the moment.
